The SYNERGY study
A Study Examining the Addition of Yoga to a Behavioral Weight Loss Intervention on Energy Balance and Health-Related Outcomes
About
About the study
Yoga may help with weight loss in people with overweight or obesity. However, it is not clear if yoga can be integrated into an existing exercise and diet program and how this may impact health outcomes.
The SYNERGY study will help us:

Learn more about the feasibility of adding yoga to an exercise and diet weight loss program
-
Examine the effects of yoga on health outcomes such as glucose control, appetite, dietary intake, activity, and psychological health
